BZBI, founded in 1840, has grown from three organizations to become an open, inclusive, and egalitarian synagogue that honors the traditions of Conservative Judaism while embracing the full participation of our diverse congregation. We maintain a community where everyone finds their place. We innovate and experiment and change, while remaining grounded in the deep tradition that is Judaism and that is BZBI.
When a local minyan needs a place for a Shabbat dinner, they come to us. When a family is looking for a place to hold their new baby’s bris, they come to us.
